1. What is Oyeits?

  • Oyeits.com is an online free classifieds platform that offers buyers and sellers a unique opportunity to effectively reach their target audience.
  • Sellers advertise their items on our website, the buyers browse the items they like and then contact the seller directly to arrange an exchange.
  • Oyeits offer all users absolutely free online classifieds and free internet advertising services. Our services varies from vehicles, electronics, education, property, jobs, pets, restaurants, events to matrimony and much more.

2. Is there any hidden fee or cost to use your web advertising services?

  • No. All ad posting and searching services are absolutely free. We will not charge any penny from our users. Please remember, we never ask our users for credit card number or other personal data. The purpose of providing no sign up service is to let our users keep their privacy.

3. Is it necessary to register to post an ad?

  • Yes, you need to register to post an ad. You can register yourself  through Facebook, Google and Twitter accounts.

4. How should I register on Oyeits.com?

  • Registering on Oyeits is now a very simple process. It takes only 1 minutes to register and post your ads.

Follow these simple steps:

  • Click “Sign In” tab in the top corner of the website
  • You can directly login using your Facebook credentials as it is a secure, fast and convenient way of authentication.
  • You can enter your details correctly such as user name, email address, password and phone number

Once you submit the above information, you will be receive an email which contains the activation link for your account in oyeits.com. Once you click the link your account will be activated.

5. How do I login to my account on Oyeits?

  • Logging in is nothing but signing in to access your already existing account.
  • Click on the ‘Sign In’ option on the right corner; enter your registered email address and password to sign into your account.  
  • Having a free account in Oyeits helps you to monitor the duration of your ads, edit or delete your ads and see all of the responses towards your ads. You can also respond to all inquiries that your ads received and boost up your selling process.

6. I forgot my password, how can I log in?

  • On the login page you can reset your password by filling in your account email address on the “Forgot Password” dialog box. We will send you an email with a link that allows you to enter a new password.

7. Can I change the email address of my account?

  • The email address once you registered can’t be changed in Oyeits but you can add another email address to your account in your ‘My account page’ by logging in.

8. What are the advantages of an account registration?

Registration allows to you to

  • Post upto 10 Ads a day
  • Get your own User Id
  • Edit, delete, repost and check replies to your Ads

Ad posting queries

 

1. How can post a good ad on Oyeits.com and get better response?

In order to enhance your ad response, follow these simple tips

  • Choose appropriate main category and subcategory. This will help your ad get defined.
  • Good title - A good title will attract more people to visit your ad.
  • Description - Describe the item/service as detailed as possible. Let the buyers know where the item is located and when you will be available.
  • Images - Upload more images. Ads with images will get 5 times more responses.
  • Always use right spellings in your ad to make it more search friendly.

2. How to include photos in my ad?

  • In image section you can upload images using add files option or you can drag and drop your photos in the image box.
  • You can upload up to six images with your ad
  • Your photos must be in .JPG, .GIF or .PNG format.

3. How do I select my location?

  • After loading your product images, you will find an option to choose the location. Fill the options with correct country then state and then the city following with your address and Zip code.
  • The pickup destination will be easy if the location details are correct for the buyers.

 4. Can I post an ad in multiple locations?

  • Yes, you can post your ad in multiple locations.
  • While posting your ad you need to select number of locations in one by one.

 5. How long do ads last on the site?

  • All ads on oyeits will remain active for 60 days.
  • Before the ad meets it expiry date, we will send you an email to renew it.
  • Also you can check whether your ad is expired or not in “My account”.

 6. I have published my ad but why I can't see it on oyeits.com?

  • Sometimes even after publishing the ad, your ad will be in pending status. This is because our system has suspected your ad as Spam. In this case, your ad will be activated after our rep checks it manually. It may take maximum 24hours.
  • If you find your ad is in pending status event after 24 hours, please email us at [email protected] Our representatives will help you.

 7. How will I know that my ad has been expired?

  • You will receive an email notification alert informing your ad expiration. You can manage your ads in “My account” page under “My expired ads” where you can republish your ads.

 8. Can I post my ad beyond my current city that is nationwide?

  • No, You cannot post your ads nationwide but you can choose multiple location for your ad “state wise”.

 9. How will I know the amount of time my ad has been viewed?

In order to know the number of views on your posted ad--

  • Go to “My accounts” page
  • Click on “My Listings”  option available on the left side
  • Further, select “My live ads” where you can view the ads posted by you.
  • Keep the cursor on the ad and you will further see four more options which will be--View ad / Delete ad / Edit ad / Item Sold.
  • Click on “view ad” and your selected ad will be displayed
  • On the right side of image box you can check the number of views for your ad by clicking on “Number of views”.

10. How do I edit/add/delete pictures to my ad after it has been posted?

Follow these steps

  • Go to “My accounts” page
  • Click “My Listings” option available on the left side
  • Select “My live ads” where you can view the ads posted by you.
  • Keep the cursor on the ad where you can see 4 tags which will be-- View ad / Delete ad / Edit ad / Item Sold.
  • Click edit ad and change your ad image.

 You can make any changes to your ad by following the same steps.

11. I haven't received the confirmation email. What do I do?

There might be few reasons behind it.

  • Please check your spam/bulk folder for our message and mark as "Not spam". Then find our message in your inbox and click on activation link to activate your ad.
  • Maybe the email id that was provided to us while registration had an error. In such cases please go to “My account” page and select “profile details”, where you can edit the email ID and repost your ad.

12. Why is my ad not being properly displayed on the map?

  • You might have chosen a wrong location while posting the address column. In such cases we request you to check the location again. If it is being wrongly posted then please provide a proper address information so that the ads will be displayed in the exact location.

13. Why was my ad removed from the site?

  • This might have happened due to the expiration of your ad.
  • You can check that by going to “My account” page where you will see ‘My expired ad list’.
  • Your ad will be on Oyeits for 90 days, once it expires you can repost it from “My expired ad” page

14. How can I contact the advertiser of an ad?

  • Once you click on an ad that you are interested in, you can see three tabs below the image box which will be-- Description,Advertisers info and Enquiries.
  • You can select advertisers info and view the contact details of seller.

15. Is screening done so that some ads remain on the front page?

  • No, various number of ads are posted in Oyeits so screening is not done for each and every ad.

16. Where can I check/view my listings?

To check your ads listing, follow the steps:

  • Go to “My accounts” page
  • Click on “My Listings” option available on the left side

All the details about your listing will appear on your home screen for you to refer.  

17. How many times can I "Update" my ad?

  • Currently there is no limitation on updating any ad. You can update your ad at any number of times once they expire.

18. How can I delete my ad after posting?

In order to delete the ads that you have posted, follow the steps:

  • Go to ‘My accounts’ page, in left side of the page
  • Click on ‘My Listings’ option available on the left side
  • Select ‘My live ads’ where you can view the ads posted by you.
  • Keep the cursor on the ad and you will see four options--View ad, Delete ad, Edit ad, Item Sold.
  • Click ‘Delete Ad’ to remove it from the list.
